Universal Coordinated Time UTC – ZULU is a 24 hour clock . There are extremes in preparedness, of course. As a basis of my work I use the 2015 Profile of Earthquake Risk in the District of North Vancouver by Earthquake Canada, wherein they state that there is 30% chance of a M7.3 in the middle of the Salish Sea in the next 50 years, that will bring down 839 buildings, just in the District of North Vancouver. If you are not mentally and physically in good shape, not frightened to do all of this on your own, not fully equipped and practiced in outdoor survival skills, then don't even try to do most any of this. If a really BIG earthquake hits expect to live by yourself, outside, for a long, long time.

Survival Lessons from the Homeless

A lot of really good points from living and working with the homeless.   Albeit, some of this is nonsense, and there is a lot of American patriotic bullshit.  Use what you can.  I have decided to NOT include the notes because they are from a  patriotic American, not specific to the North American west coast, Canada and the United States, in the Pacific Ring of Fire.  However, if you would like to see those, simply click on the YouTube link, and watch it there.  September, 2017 North Shore News article:  Here in North and West Vancouver, The North Shore Homelessness Task Force published a report this week finding 736 unique individuals registered for services reserved for the homeless on the North Shore over the course of 2016. The study found another 295 individuals who were at imminent risk homelessness.   [PDF]  2018 Report on Homeless Counts in BC - BC Housing

If you are one of over 30 million Canadians, I would not recommend buying anything listed here, through Amazon.  30-40% of the time the suppliers will not ship to Canada. Many of the YouTube Channels get kick-backs, increasing your costs.

So get an account at Canada TireIt is a public company that trades on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol CTC.  Wide range of products. Low delivery fees. Fast delivery. No border customs & excise duties. Best of all, these are in Canadian dollars.  NO I AM NOT PAID FOR THIS REFERRAL.  Just frustrated at the incompetence of many of the United States' Amazon suppliers.
