. There are extremes in preparedness, of course. As a basis of my work I use the 2015 Profile of Earthquake Risk in the District of North Vancouver by Earthquake Canada, wherein they state that there is 30% chance of a M7.3 in the middle of the Salish Sea in the next 50 years, that will bring down 839 buildings, just in the District of North Vancouver. This is my real challenge. If you are not mentally and physically in good shape, not frightened to do all of this on your own, not fully equipped and practiced in outdoor survival skills, then don't even try to do most any of this. If a really BIG earthquake hits expect to live by yourself, outside, for a long, long time.
